You can join some other libraries for free and have access to a wide variety of online resources as well as the library collections.
Williamstown Library (Hobson’s Bay City Council)
Register at any of the Hobson’s Bay Libraries and you can then borrow from any branch. The eLibrary also has links to many resources, online journals and newspapers.
TROVE (National Library of Australia)
The National Library of Australia catalogue includes lots of full text documents that can be accessed through one click. They also have many full text newspapers and magazines available online.
You can use the State Library of Victoria (SLV) for free but if you become a member you will have access to a larger range of services. The SLV has a fantastic Victorian history collection which includes many old photographs and newspapers.
